About Us

The AI Safety Voter Alliance ("ASVA") exists to answer a simple question: how do ordinary people make sure that AI is properly regulated?

What is ASVA

ASVA is a civic organisation designed to give AI safety voters real political leverage. We do this by:

• Building a voter bloc of people who pledge to prioritise AI safety when they vote
• Grading MPs and candidates using an AI Safety Scorecard
• Rewarding or withholding electoral support based on that Scorecard

Why voting matters

Under the UK's electoral system, constituencies are often won or lost by narrow margins. This means a small but committed group of voters in any given constituency can wield outsized influence - provided politicians know their votes hinge on one issue.

ASVA is building just such a group, with the aim of making AI safety a priority across the political spectrum.
